Cufflinks:  The silver chain link cufflinks are custom made and still available by commission from “Brooklinde Jewllery.” Yes, that’s “jewelry” with an extra “l.”

Coat: This black velvet “Crombie” style coat is custom made by Chris Kerr. It features Holland and Sherry black velvet, which is still available, and a purple lining, which is also still available from Harrisons. The buttons on this coat are the same matte black horn buttons which are featured on the burgundy velvet and previous “Crombie” style coats That being said, the size of the buttons appears to be one size down.

frock.jpgCoat: This black velvet frock coat is custom made in-house by the BBC. It has a cobalt blue lining and thin peak lapels. Both the velvet and lining fabrics have been identified. If you wish to purchase these fabrics, please contact me. The buttons are absolutely unavailable and were purchased from the Cloth House.

Hoodie: This green cotton hoodie is by AllSaints as per usual. It has a waffle texture, unlike all the previous hoodies worn by the 12th Doctor. The exact colorway is “racing green” and the model is the “Clash Hoodie.” The correct model is still available in the United States, but the racing green colorway is no longer produced.

Waistcoat: This plain, basic, black, five button, merino wool waistcoat is by TM Lewin. The lining is a poly viscose mix. The model name is “Palmer Waistcoat” in the U.K.” and “Palmer Vest” in the U.S. It is still available, although incredibly low on stock.

Trousers: These dark navy trousers have been worn since series 9, originally with the Sleep No More variant, and then worn with all burgundy velvet costumes since, except for The Return of Doctor Mysterio. They are navy, slim-fit, stretch-cotton, twill trousers with tapered legs and added cuffs which were sold by Paul Smith.

Waistcoat: This navy blue cotton waistcoat is incredibly ugly and horrible. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.) It was sold as a “Plain Blue Cotton Waistcoat” by John Lewis and is no longer available. It was restocked on a few occasions, but it now appears to be permanently out of stock.

Jumper: This thin, black, merino wool jumper was originally sold by TopMan, and is no longer available. It was sold under the name “Ladder Jumper.” That being said, avery close alternate model is also sold by Forever 21. A very close alternate option was also sold by Zara, but is not completely accurate. It is almost definite that Peter Capaldi wears a size smaller than his usual fit, as it is intended to fit long, around to the bottom of the crotch of your trousers. In order for you to achieve this fit, you will likely need to size down.

Undershirt: This bright blue undershirt was most likely purchased from John Lewis. The correct color is no longer available.

Hoodie: This “puce” red merino wool hoodie was sold by AllSaints in autumn 2014. They were on sale for $44 before they went completely out of stock. The exact model, like the vast majority of the 12th Doctor’s hoodies, is “Mode Merino Zip-Up Hoodie” in the color “puce.” A good alternate option is the “Damson Red Mode Merino Zip-Up Hoodie” currently sold by AllSaints. That being said, the color is only close and not by any means accurate. The zipper is also an incorrect shape.

Jumper: This thin, black, merino wool jumper was originally sold by TopMan, and is no longer available. It was sold under the name “Ladder Jumper.” That being said, a very close alternate model is also sold by Forever 21. A very close alternate option was also sold by Zara, but is not completely accurate.

This diving suit was designed by Hayley Nebauer and custom made for Peter Capaldi. Fun fact, the first thing he does after diving with this costume is pull a sonic screwdriver out. Yet, Hayley designed no pockets for the costume. She must have glossed over that scene in the script…

Paul Smith.jpg

Coat: This black velvet “Crombie” style coat is custom made by Chris Kerr. It features Holland and Sherry black velvet, which is still available, and a purple lining, which is also still available from Harrisons. The buttons on this coat are the same matte black horn buttons which are featured on the burgundy velvet and previous “Crombie” style coats That being said, the size of the buttons appears to be one size down.

Hoodie: This navy merino wool hoodie was sold by AllSaints and distressed by Ray Holman, the costume designer in series 9. The exact model, like the vast majority of the 12th Doctor’s hoodies, is “Mode Merino Zip-Up Hoodie” in the color “ink.” The exact model is technically no longer available, as AllSaints has changed the design of the zipper and size of their embroidered logo. Regardless, the current version of this hoodie is still available. The color and cut remains accurate.

Waistcoat: This waistcoat is completely custom made.

Jumper?: There appears to be a jumper under the waistcoat if you look directly above the belt.

Shirt: This white, cotton dress shirt is made by Budd Shirtmakers and distressed by the costume department. It is made from luxurious 100% Soyella cotton. Due to popular demand, Budd has chosen to make this exact model available on their website.

Regardless, the current version of this hoodie is still available. The color and cut remains accurate.

Jumper: This navy blue cotton/acrylic jumper was sold by Zara in late 2016/early 2017. The exact model was “Paint Splatter Sweater”, and it is no longer available. The price was originally $59.99, and was last sold on sale for $15.99. It was only sold in medium, large, and extra large. It fits with long sleeves, as advertised on the website, and noticeably longer in length on the model than on Capaldi. It may be machine washed, but should not be tumble dried. Due to the fragility of the paint, I would suggest hand washing.

Undershirt: This undershirt is a black, long-sleeve t-shirt which appears to be distressed. Exact origins are unknown. Hayley Nebauer, the costume designer, claims it is custom made. (That is most likely a lie, as a black t-shirt has absolutely no reason to be custom made. She additionally has lied in the past about the Ladder Jumper being custom made.)
